YOGYAKARTA CITY

Yogyakarta  (Java language: hanacaraka, ꦑꦸꦛꦔꦪꦺꦴꦒꦾ ꦏꦂꦠ) is the capital and administrative center of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Yogyakarta is the residence of the Sultan Hamengkubawana and Duke Paku Alam. Yogyakarta is one of the largest cities in Indonesia and the third largest city in the southern part of Java after Bandung and Malang by population.               
One of the districts in Yogyakarta, namely Kotagede once the center of the Sultanate of Mataram between the period of 1575 - 1640. Kraton (palace) are still functioning in the real sense is Ngayogyakarta and Puro Paku Alaman, which is a fraction of the Sultanate of Mataram
